Our Story

"I started looking for answers when my own hair started thinning."
I live with endometriosis and ovarian cysts. One of the things that comes with that, and the thing nobody warns you about, is hair loss. I went looking for something that would actually help. Not a quick fix. Something gentle, something real, something I could use every day.

I ended up asking my gran. She was in her 80s and her hair was still full, still long, still beautiful. She told me what she'd always used: tea tree, mint, rosemary, lemongrass and shea. The ingredients women in her generation reached for, long before any of this had a shelf in a shop.

I went home and started blending.

The first people to test every batch.

My twin boys, Khaaliel and Khaalid, have curly hair that needed real, gentle care.
They tried every batch before anyone else did. If a product wasn't gentle enough or didn't deliver, it didn't leave the house.
Because they were the first customers, every product we make is safe for kids and gentle enough for the most sensitive scalps in the family.

Where we're going.

Right now, LockedIn Beauty is small. One founder, two not so little testers, a handful of products, and a lot of care in every batch.
The plan is to grow it slowly and well. More products, more ways to take care of the hair you have, no matter where you are in South Africa.
Through all of it, the promise stays the same: hand-blended, with care.
Thank you for being part of the early chapter.  — Ray
