Our Story

I didn't start LockedIn Beauty because I had a business plan. I started it because I had a problem no product seemed to want to solve.

For years I struggled to find haircare that didn't cause a reaction. Product after product, I'd work through the shelves, drawn in by the claims on the front of the bottle, let down by what was actually inside. Parabens. Artificial fragrance. Silicones. Ingredients I didn't recognise that my scalp quickly made its feelings known about. For someone dealing with a sensitive scalp and a family with similar concerns, the options felt limited and the answers felt vague.

So I went back to what I knew. Growing up, I watched the women in my family care for their hair with ingredients that made sense, botanical, purposeful, and gentle. I started blending my own formulas, guided by that same instinct: only add what belongs there.What I made worked. Not just for me, but for my twin boys, and for the women around me who'd heard the same promises and had the same disappointments. I started sharing it. Then I couldn't stop.

Every LockedIn Beauty product is free from parabens, silicones, artificial fragrance, phthalates, mineral oil, coconut oil and soy. Our Growth & Glow range is also sulphate-free. These aren't marketing decisions, they are the decisions I made for my own family first, and carry through to every single batch.Everything is hand-blended here in South Africa, in small quantities, so nothing sits on a shelf longer than it should. There are no shortcuts in the formulas and no fillers added to make the bottles look fuller.

LockedIn Beauty exists because the right product didn't. I hope it becomes yours the way it became mine.
